2. What are your top two pet peeves?

It would definitely have to be people smacking with something in their mouths.

It literally drives me insane. I can't take it!

Have some manners and realize no one wants to see what food looks like once it gets to your mouth.

Second peeve of mine has to be silverware scraping a surface.

Usually metal or a plate or something.

I want to claw my eyes out!

It is so obnoxious it makes my teeth hurt!

3. What's the name of your best friend & tell us her best trait.

My Best friend's name is Alex.

Don't get me wrong. I have a lot of bests

But she is the greatest.

She has been there for me through most of the hard points in my life.

She is there to support me and encourage it when I need it.

She's the only person who can tell when something is wrong with me before I even realize something is wrong.

She doesn't judge me or anything.

When I'm at a vulnerable moment she knows to let me be.

She knows when to say something and when silence is just what I need.

She can always make me laugh and knows the right words to say.

She is the only person I've ever met that can tolerate me and all of my quirkiness because Lord knows I am hard to handle.

I love that girl to death!

(which is why she's also my roommate)

4. Tell us one of your quirks? What's different about you?

One of my biggest quirks is definitely my OCD

because it's only for certain things.

Cleaning wise, I'm super OCD except when it comes to my car.

My car is absolutely the dirtiest thing ever.

And I'm not sure why I'm like that but I am.

Also the way I count money

(being that I work at the bank)

All of my money has to face the exact same way.

Right side up and the top of the head has to be to the right.

It's weird I know but I can't count money any other way.

I'm also OCD about how I put my clothes on.

It's absolutely hilarious.

underwear, then bra, undershirt/tank top, pants, top, shoes.

And my shoes have to go on from right then left.

otherwise I am completely out of wack for the rest of the day.

Also, I count things.

like how many steps I take.

Weirdo I know.

Like people joke around about being OCD.

I'm legitimately OCD though.

1. If you could be on any TV show {reality or not}, what show would you be on?

I would definitely be on LIVE WITH KELLYI absolutely adore her :)She's such a cutie pie!! 2. What is the best thing you have ever bought from a yard/garage sale?
I've never bought anything from a yard sale.Not that I wouldn't!I've just never been one to wake up super early on Saturdays and go find yard sales.
3. Do you still have friends whom you went to high school with?I have a few actually! My best friend and roommate and I have actually been friends since the middle school days!But I have a good number of friends I met when I was in high school(s)seeing as how I went to two of them.That I'm still friends with today :)
4. Do you have any scars? If so, share the stories behind them.I don't really have any "cool" scars.I do have one scar on my left elbow from when I was riding my bike and fell off of it. It hit asphalt and rock.So there are darker spots where the rock was stuck.Gross I know lol.I also have a place on my knee from where I fell on broken glassMy knee hit a large piece and it went all the way in.Luckily it didn't hurt anything but my skin!
5. If you had to eat one thing/meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? 

Macaroni.

6. What's your most embarrassing moment?

Hmm.... this is a hard one.

I have a few funny ones that I probably shouldn't post on here haha

But there was a time when I was at home at my parents house.

And mind you... I don't sing in front of ANYONE

well... I was home alone... or so I thought

and was in the shower singing at the top of my lungs.

And.... my family came home.

HEARD THE WHOLE THING.

hahahahahahaha

Inside my world

1. Did you have a favorite blanket or toy as a kid? If so, do you still have it??

I had a blanket and a teddy bear.

My blanket was blue and it was the one that used to hang on the back of my Pawpaw's chair.

He passed away and my mom and I moved.

So I got the blanket.

My teddy bear was one that I got in K5 for my birthday.

It was light brown and had red plaid pj's on.

And it came with a night light bc I was scared of the dark!

Sad to say I no longer have either of these :(

2. I love it when my _______ does ________.

"Guy I'm interested in"

Sends me a certain text.

We have this weirdo little game we play when we're bored.

He always texts me and says "tell me something"

and then I proceed to send him a random fact about myself that he wouldn't already know.

It's usually something no one ever really notices.

We go back and forth forever with this.

It's always funny with how random these texts are!

And whatever I tell him never goes along with what he sends me back lol.

It sounds silly but it makes my day :)

3. You're at a ball park. You have $5 in your pocket. You order...

I'm with Jessica on this one.

I LOVE either a hotdog or some good nachos and cheese!

But for me...diet coke lol

4. If you could have any celebrities 'voice' as the voice on your GPS, who would it be?

It would have to be gerard butler wit his irish accent.

That man is pure sexiness.

And his accent just makes him THAT much hotter.

5. Are you a messy sleeper or a neat sleeper?
Haha this is funny.

I'm definitely a messy sleeper.

Which cracks me up because I'm so OCD with neatness.

My bed is always made perfectly before I can get in it.

And when I go to sleep I lay on my side with the blankets perfectly flattened out and in perfect place.

Then when I wake up in the morning

my pillows are EVERYWHERE.

and the ends of my comforter are untucked and it's turned all sideways

My sheets are usually in a big ball at the end of the bed.

It's a mess haha!

1. What style do you tend to lean towards when decorating your home?

Right now all the walls in our house are a pretty tan color. We have black/tan/red/and white in pretty much every room in including the bathroom and bedrooms. We have other colros throughout to make each room a little different both those colors are the common ones in every room. I mean with balck appliances, tan walls, and a red fron door what else could ya do? lol. But we absolutely love it! And that's how we probably would have decorated the house anyways!

2. I never leave the house without...

A drink in hand haha! I don't know why but I have to have something to drink in my car at all times! I mean of course I have my keys, purse, and cell phone but thats kind of a given. Drink of choice? Diet Mountain Dew :)

3. I love to pamper myself by...

-Manicures. LOVE EM

-Mary Kay

-New undies from VS (can you tell I'm weirdly obsessed with my underwear? haha)

-High heels! Anytime I'm sad or upset, a new pair of heels can always save the day!

-It may sound weird but I always love new mascara? haha

-Nishie G's :)

Most women like ice cream or chocolate

I love Greek American Cuisine haha

-New clothes of any kind.

Retail Therapy anyone?

-Quiet moments at the lake! I live for water and seeing as how my house is literally seconds away from a local boat landing that's kind of a well kept secret... you can catch me there anytime I need alone time.

-A good book :)

It's my way of escaping reality for a little while

Book of choice? Anything by Nicholas Sparks at the moment.

It's my goal to have read all of his novels by my birthday next April.



Share Your World Thursday

I found this absolutely lovely new link up on one of the greatest blogs Stilettos And A Fishing Pole.

Every thursday, there are a set of questions, just random things. It's supposed to help the readers get to know you (and also help the blogger with writers block.... which I tend to have a LOT these days!)

So here goes : )

1. Go back five years, would you have pictured your life as it is now or would it have been different?  If so, how or why?
Five years ago I would have been 16. (I know I'm a baby!)
But when I was sixteen, I dreamed of having this romantic love life. I dreamed that I would find my high school sweetheart and he would be the man of my dreams. We would get married at this elegant fairytale wedding and live happily ever after. I would be a stay at home mom, we'd be living in a gorgeous white house with a wrap around porch, like in the notebook, and all would be well with the world.
As you should know, my life is NOTHING like I pictured it back then. I'm not married. My high school sweetheart and I are no longer together. I don't have children. No fairytale wedding or a pretty white horse. Definitely no wrap around porch. I work everyday. But I'm perfectly happy with how my life has turned out. It's like I've always said "some of God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayers"-Garth Brooks

2. In a perfect world with no attachments, my career would be...
I've always loved children. I have a passion for seeing the smiles on their faces when you interact with them and play with them. And I've always wanted to do something to better their lives. In a perfect world I would be a teacher in elementary school. But in reality college is ridiculously expensive and the need for new teachers is rare. But I love my job at the bank and I'm glad I ended up here :)

3. Name one thing you do {or don't do} that the world may think strange of you.
Haha it sounds funny, but I tend to match my clothes to my underwear! I know its random and maybe TMI but I'm just that OCD about coordinating : ) lol
