Anyways, down to business.

First and foremost....

WHAT I'VE BEEN UP TO:

Annnnnnyways,

Since we came back from Hilton Head

Alex and I have been super busy around the house and with other things.

She now has a new man in her life and I am so freakin ecstatic for her!

He's such a sweet guy and he's so good to her!

They've been spending so much time together but it's great!

I have been super busy seeing as how I just recently got a new gym membership

at Omni Health And Fitness

IT'S FANTASTIC

Let me just tell you.

The new owner was so helpful working with me to figure out exactly what I needed.

And the trainers are wonderful!

They broke down the basics of excersize and fat and why you need lean muscle

and the importance of strength training and yadda yadda yadda.

It made so much sense to me!

And it motivated me even more.

They even showed me how to correctly do different excersizes and ways to mix it up and do "muscle confusion"

But I'm only meeting with them once a month.

My friend J who you all may remember from this post

and I meet once a week.

And let me just tell you home girl kicks my little booty!

WORK LIFE:

Work has been somewhat different here lately

I temporarily moved over to a branch on the other side of town to help out due to them

being short handed until January.

It's been fine but "There's no place like home"

I miss my home branch!

I love my little ladies I work with and I definitely miss my customers!

Plus all the officers that come in everyday!

Buuuuuuut we wound up getting some extra help over at the other branch

and my home branch had a short in workers so they sent me back home for two days!

OH MY WORD

It feels so good to be back!

And not to mention how happy my coworkers were to have me back.. they missed me :)

And my customers missed me too!

It always makes you feel good for your customers faces to light up when they see  you!

LOVE LIFE:

Well ladies, let's just say love life is getting better :)

(for those that have followed along)

"Guy I'm interested in"

is no longer so interesting.

Nothing happened really we just kind of faded off and realized we're better off friends.

Well it's been a few weeks now since this happened and I haven't really been looking.

And that's when "Mr. hopefully Wonderful" happened :)

I don't want to post names or any background info just yet because I want to see where it goes

But girls, he took me out on a date to one of my favorite restaurants

and I literally have never connected so much with someone I just met!

He lives a little over an hour away from me so we can only spend time together on the weekends he has off

But we've been on the phone for hours every night and on skype every night before we go to bed.

So far so good :)

And we're hanging out ALL DAY

this saturday!

I'll keep yall updated on how this goes... but keep your fingers crossed!

HOME LIFE

Home life has been fantastic!

I seriously could not ask for a better roommate!

She's wonderful and she puts up with me and my OCD which is terrific!

We have a blast together.

Her mom is in town this week

(love that woman)

And she is helping us decorate for Christmas which I love!

She bought our Christmas tree for us!

It was adorable!

We all went together like a little family

LOVE IT

We're going to finish decorating everything tonight when I get home from the gym :)

Playing Catch Up

Wow!! Sorry it has taken me so long to catch up! So much has been going on  around here lately that its hard to find time to really get any blogging done!

Thanksgiving was amazing. I spent most of my time curling my little sisters hair which was so nice! I love having girly bonding time with her! Then my family and I ate WAY too much as I’m sure most people did. My uncle who thinks he is all knowing at strategic board games broke out the “connect four” and got his butt kicked not once, not twice, but SEVEN times by all of the grandkids. It was truly priceless! I have NEVER beat him so it was awesome when I finally did!

Made my whole night ;)

Anyways I finally got all of the stuff for my “How the glitz stole Christmas” partner and it is in the mail on its way to Texas now!

I’m so stinking excited for her to get what I got her! I put some thought into it and im so proud of myself J

Then this past weekend I spent some much needed R&R time in Hilton Head with my best friend and her family. It was fantastic!

We just hung out at the house and had a few glasses of wine and caught up on life.

Saturday we went shopping at Coligny Beach on the island and I got some super cute jewelry.

Then we went to a local bar/grill to watch the Clemson vs Carolina game. Let’s not talk about that.

Then we went to cheap seats for some drinks and catching up with some friends. All in all we had a great night!

The drive back home was pretty entertaining also. We saw literally 8 wrecks which is insanity!

People cannot drive I’m telling you!

Then this past week we’ve just been spending quiet nights at home doing more of like chore type stuff. Laundry, grocery shopping and cleaning. You know typical house stuff!

Oh and I finally got a gym membership. WHICH I NEED. Cameron Diaz body by April… let’s do this!

I got a personal trainer who is also a great friend, J, and we are going to meet at least once a week. We met or the first time last night, and let me tell you, homegirl kicked my booty!

But I am now on a strict no soda, no fast food, no sugar, no caffeine kind of diet.

And as we are calling it #operationgohard is in full swing!

At the end of it I’ll post before and after pictures so stay tuned for that. It should be entertaining.

I’m also going to keep a journal of the progress I have made which I will post at the end of it also.

Hopefully this will turn out amazing. J is such an inspirational person and I know she is going to put her all into helping me.

This weekend was absolutely hilarious. Very super eventful too I must add

but let me just say.... GO ARKANSAS haha
Clemson had a bi-week so a few good people came over and we watched the Carolina vs Arkansas game and then we watched LSU remain #1 in the nation and stay undefeated when they beat Alabama without ever even scoring a touch down. Talk about an interesting game!

Anyways my weekend can be summed up as this

-friends came home from out of town .... :)
A friend from a while ago was home this weekend and I got to spend some much needed time with him. LOVED IT
-reunited with my friend Ericka and im SO excited about it
She got married and ran off to Florida but shes back home now and I AM SO  FREAKING EXCITED lol
-made up a new "high five" rule
If you can make someone give you a high five five times in one night you get a kiss. LOVE this rule :) lol
-cooked a BANGING dinner friday night... go me :)
sauteed beef tips with peppers and mushrooms. Homemade mashed potatoes, and green beans... yum :)
-made new friends
I met a lot of new people this weekend and loved everyone of them :)
-I definitely smacked some guy in the face for being disrespectful to me ... once again... go me :) lol
lets just say I don't tolerate ignorance and he was being very rude and disrespectful to me, Ericka, and some other friends and I just got sick of it. So I slapped him and walked out. I don't usually feel like being physical is the answer but this guy really needed it and I just happened to be the one to finally do it.
-lots and lots and lots of wings and football!
need I say more?
-finally made our little house feel like a home :)
Alex and I have been in our little humble abode for a little over a week now and we FINALLY got everything unpacked and put away. Everything is decorated and finally has our personalities in it. We made it a home by having a few of some great friends over this weekend :)
-My little brother's birthday....

A few updates... seeing as how I do have writers block here lately.


Family:
Family life is pretty great :) My nana is out of the hospital and doing great for an almost 90 year old lady! Grammy is doing great too! We had a scare with her health. Doctors thought she might have cancer. And we are proud to report she is in fact cancer free! This week is my Pawpaw's birthday. He's such a wonderful man. He and my Mawmaw married when I was very young, and he took on an entire family. He's been a blessing to all of us. And he loves my grandmother (who is precious to my heart) unconditionally. So we're pretty excited to celebrate him :)

Friends:
Friends are also pretty great! I've been spending a good amount of time with friends and I'm loving it :)
I finally feel happy and content with that part of my life.

Work:
Work is going fantastic! We have opened so many accounts and kept them open! Our bank is running a campaign right now where the branches get a certain amount of money for the amount of accounts we open and so far we have $500 and counting! Oh and not to mention we are the ONLY branch who had exceeded all of our goals for the year! Um high five please?

Living Situation:
WE HAVE A HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!! Okay so a town house but same difference right?
It is absolutely adorable! It has a ton of updates, all new appliances, fresh paint, and it comes with a washer dryer and a grill! Let me just say, I'm in love with the place! I'll post pictures of it once we start getting stuff set up in it!



Oh and did I mention my Tigers are 7-0

We all should know by now, I am a die hard Clemson fan. Wouldn't have it any other way. I bleed orange and purple.
With that being said I am BEYOND excited that college football is less than a month away :)
You best believe whether I'm at the game or on the couch at home, I will be decked out in the Clemson attire! My (future) roomie and I are both Clemson fans, thank goodness, so our lovely apartment will be decked out during gamedays!
